Disney’s DAS Pass
Disney’s DAS Pass is often confused as a system for those with physical disabilities. If you are using a wheelchair or Scooter, there are accommodations in the parks which vary by the attraction. I will cover that in a separate blog. The Disney DAS Pass is for those who have difficulties waiting in lines. For instance, those with autism, social anxiety disorder, even those with celiac disease who may need to leave the line on a moment’s notice. If there is a medical reason that you cannot wait in line, then you may be eligible for the Disney DAS Pass.
Disability Access Service Pass
Disney’s DAS Pass allows eligible guests to choose an attraction, get a DAS Pass, and then wait the current wait time outside of line. You can enjoy other attractions, dining, and enjoy your time and when the wait time is up, your party will then return to the attraction and be allowed into the Lightning Lane (previously called the Fast Pass lane). It’s very convenient and keeps guests who have trouble waiting in line, outside of those long lines.

How to Use DAS Pass
First, you should use the pre-registration service. This is not an item that your Magication travel agent can do for you. Disney will need to live chat with the person who needs the DAS Pass. It’s an easy process and generally quick (depending on your wait time).
Pre-Registration benefits
Eligible Guests can now pre-register between 30 days and 2 days prior to arrival. There are many benefits to registering ahead of your arrival. 1) You don’t have to waste precious park time or arrive extra early to set up the DAS Pass at Guest Relations on your first park day. 2) Even better, when you pre-register you are able to book DAS Passes ahead of your arrival. You can book 2 passes per day of your stay. They work like the old Fast Pass system. You can choose 2 rides and the times for the returns. You’ll get an assigned time to ride this attraction within a 1 hour time frame. How convenient is that?!
How Can a Magication Agent Help?
Though we can’t register you for a DAS Pass, we can certainly help you beforehand and afterwards, making sure your party is all included in your Disney Genie app, linking your tickets, working with you on park reservations, advising you on which attractions to ask for, helping you with your itinerary to get them during the right time for your schedule, and much more. A Magication travel agent is really a treasure for your travel!
Pre-Registration Process
To Pre-Register, follow the link below, scroll down until you see “Ready to Chat with a Cast Member.” You’ll need to accept their terms of service and then continue. You’ll be placed in a queue and then you’ll live chat with a Disney Cast Member. They’ll confirm your eligible simply by asking why you need the service. You do not need to provide any documentation of this. (But Please do NOT abuse the system. It is only meant for those who need it.)
On Site guests can purchase individual Lightning Lane Passes starting at 7 a.m. the day of. Those staying off property will be able to purchase when the park opens.
Each guest may purchase up to 2 Lightning Lane Passes per day. Just like with Genie+, you cannot use a Lightning Lane Pass twice for the same attraction. And like Genie+, the earlier times in the day will be gone quicker. However, unlike Genie+, Lightning Lane allows you to choose a return time for that attraction.
FAQS
You can hold both a Genie+ and Lightning Lane Pass at the same time.
If you have multiple people in your party on the app, then you can make ride reservations for them as well. You can make different reservations for different members of your party.
Genie+ also gives you fun exclusive, virtual photo filters. Have fun!
You can park hop with Genie+. If you make a ride reservation before the 2:00 park hopping is available, Genie+ is smart enough to push the reservation later for when park hopping begins.
